Winifred (O’Connor) Gardiner wife of devoted husband Peter P. Gardiner of 64 years passed away peacefully on November 16th after a long illness.

Survived by her children - daughter Deborah Green and her husband Christopher of Kingston, daughter Susan Harkins of Rockland, son Peter Gardiner Jr and his wife Helene of Saugus, Michael Gardiner and his wife Grace of Hanover.

Grandma to ten loving grandchildren Michael Green and his wife Jillian, Sarah O’Malley and her husband Paul, Kay Green, Kalyn Harkins, Carly Harkins, Krista Gardiner, Drew Gardiner, Ryan Gardiner and his wife Jennifer, Justin Gardiner and his wife Arline, Jessica Gardiner and her fiancée Reese Fallon.

Great grandma to four great-grandchildren Mary O’Malley, Paul O’Malley, Elle Green, and Brooks Gardiner.

Winifred is one of fifteen children born to Michael and Mary Delia O’Toole O’Connor in Co. Galway, Ireland. She is survived by her sisters Kitty Walsh of Ireland, Peg Davoren, Rita Kyne of Ireland, Veronica Harrington of UK. She is survived by her brothers Patrick O’Connor and his wife Ann of Ireland, John O’Connor, and his wife Elizabeth, Joseph O’Connor and his wife Rose, Michael O’Connor and his wife Elizabeth, Peter O’Connor and his wife Imelda. Predeceased by sisters Helen O’Connor, Mary Kyne of Ireland, Norah Cunningham, Anne Walsh, and Bridget Moloney. Winifred is also survived by many nephews and nieces and their families.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Agatha Church, 432 Adams Street, Milton, Monday Nov. 20 at 10:30 AM. Family and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, Sunday Nov 19 from 3-6 PM. Burial Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
