Obituary for Wilbert Bleus

On the morning of November 23, 2022, Mr. Wilbert Bleus, a beloved husband, devoted father, adoring grandfather, brother, uncle, and trusted friend passed away peacefully at his home in Randolph MA.

Wilbert Bleus was born to parents, Antoine Bleus and Justine Valmé of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He and his siblings; elder sisters and younger brother, were raised by their beloved maternal grandmother from childhood to adulthood, after the untimely passing of their mother.

He completed all of his primary and secondary schooling in Haiti, ultimately gaining his degree in accounting.

He later, made the decision to join his sister in New York to make a new life for himself in the United States. In the mid-70s, he chose to move to Boston, MA to reside with his maternal uncle. It was here in Boston, in 1977 where he met his wife, Rose. It didn't take long for them to fall in love, as they wed in 1979, established a life for themselves and started a family and had two beautiful daughters, Sahadia and Sybil.

Wilbert and Rose, lived a blissful 43 years of marriage together.

Wilbert worked hard to provide for his family and everyone knew it. For more than 35 years, he was employed with the Boston Public School system, as a dedicated, well-loved, and popular school bus driver.

Wilbert is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rose Yolette Bleus, his daughters, Sahadia A. Bleus, and Sybil A. Bleus- Eversley, and his son-in-law Alan Eversley.

His legacy lives on through his grandchildren Aven and Sygornee Everlsey, Jayda B. and Emari Zion L. Also now survived by his eldest sister Ghislaine Bleus- Celestin, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

In the after life he meets his beloved family and friends who have passed. He was preceded in death by his parents Justine Valmé and Antoine Bleus, his grandmother, Louisina Labat Gabriel Valmé, maternal uncle André Valmé and his sisters Marie Lourdes Paul, Jacqueline Bleus- Joseph. Anite Bleus- Herard and brother Claude Bleus

Visiting hours will be held at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington St. DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS on Friday, December 9th from 4-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Mary Church on Saturday at 10AM. Interment at Saint Mary Cemetery
