Ms. Wieman was my second grade teacher back around 1977 at Johnson School in Weymouth. She used to have me make her a nurses hats out of paper that she would put on when a student would get a boo boo. I made her quite a few over the years. She was my favorite teacher. I visited her after school at the school pretty much every year after second grade into my adult years. Last time I had visited her I think was 1998 at Pingree school. As a child I guess I was considered stubborn and not the greatest student but Ginny knew how to handle me and always put a smile on my face. All the other teachers would put me in the hall with my face in the corner for punishment. Not Ginny, she was always understanding and very kind to me. I will never forget her! I wish I could have visited her after she retired or visited her before her death. God Bless her. My condolences go out to her friends and family.
