It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Valentina Ilo, age 91, on November 17th, 2024 in Quincy, MA. Valentina was a cherished teacher to many, and a beloved member of the Asllani and Ilo Family.

Born on July 21st, 1933, in Korca, Albania, Valentina lived a life filled with love and kindness, and longtime contribution to Korca’s community of Middle School Education and beyond. She was known for her generosity and dedication to her career and her loving family.

Valentina is survived by her daughter Vjollca Asllani, her son-in-law Piro Asllani, her grandsons Ilian Asllani, Nikola Ilo and Thomas Ilo, her granddaughter Eva Asllani, her great-grandson Valentin Ilo, and her sister Marieta Pojani. She joins her husband Niko Ilo, her son Sotiraq Ilo and her brother Petraq Vasil in eternal peace.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Valentina’s life at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE on Thursday, November 21 from 4 - 8 PM. Funeral ceremony on Friday, November 22 at the Holy Trinity Albanian Orthodox Church, 245 D St, South Boston. Interment in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
