Obituary for Tiffany Lamar

Tiffany "Tiff" Lamar, 38, of Boston, Massachusetts, passed away on June 1, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on February 2, 1987, in Boston, Tiffany was a bright light from the start. She attended Boston Latin School, where she graduated with honors in June 2005. She went on to pursue her passion for nursing, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Regis College in May 2009. Later that year, in October 2009, she became a licensed Registered Nurse in Massachusetts. Never one to stop growing, Tiffany continued her education at Walden University, where she earned a Master of Science in Nursing in November 2016.

Tiffany dedicated her life to caring for others - both in her profession and in her everyday life. She was known for her deep compassion, unwavering kindness, and tireless dedication to putting others before herself. Her heart was as generous as her spirit was creative. A gifted crafter, Tiffany had a natural talent for turning simple materials into lasting treasures. Whatever she touched was made more beautiful through her care and imagination.

She is lovingly survived by her mother Christine Ramoutar, father Ramiro Vazquez, devoted husband Justin Lamar, and their three beloved daughters: Janaii, Korri, and Wesley Lamar. Tiffany's legacy of love, grace, and selflessness will live on through them and through all the lives she touched.

A celebration of Tiffany's life will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Bethel AME Church, 38 Walk Hill Street, Jamaica Plain. A viewing will take place from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. She will be laid to rest at Forest Hills Cemetery.

Tiffany will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege to know her.

It's with deep sense of great loss that I shear with the family of this wonderful and strong woman that has stood the test of time and unwavering fight the daily challenges through good times and bad. Tiffany though the few years I have known her, with her consistent spirit of true humility, has been a very dedicated and responsible woman of purpose. She has shown her team of workers that true leadership only comes from self awareness is the foundation that building a team of workers that are willing to stand by her and to make her vision statement come to life, and she made herself show up when we needed her the most. Her desk was not a place of comfort when she see the need of her staff her status was recognized when she looked in the mirror, but she say the needs of her staff first. Tiffany was young but her leadership qualities tell otherwise she has the heart of a lion a power to lead with authority and firmness. I respected my Boss a great fighter she has never past me on the units and didn't say hi Fitzroy how are you doing today that meant the world to me, even when I did recognized he at the moment but I recognized the soft voice saying 'Hi Fitzroy'. I say to the family, time fleeting days are passing death is inevitable and for sure the example is right before our eyes. We love her, we respected her if it was for all that she would still be with us, but her time has come. She had served her time will. As I shear my deepest condolences with you. I most say that only a life that is lived for Jesus Christ will last I hope Tiffany had made that blessed choice. Stay strong Mr Lamar and your children, you know that's what she requested for you all to be strong fight on you will overcome. We know you love her but Jesus loves her best, he is your best comfort right now stand firm he see all the tears and cares he will surely see you through. May her soul rest in peace πŸ•ŠοΈ some day so death will lose it sting and we will have the victory in Jesus Christ name. Love you all from the BMC family. Stay strong God got you all trust him.
