Obituary for Thurman D. Salmons, Jr.
Thurman “Tommy” D. Salmons, Jr. of Brockton, MA passed away unexpectedly on April 16, 2024. Tommy enjoyed a lot of the simple things in life, fishing, camping, football, cook-out’s but most importantly he enjoyed his family. He worked at the Quincy Shipyard for many years and worked for the Salvation Army for many more. Growing up he resided in Brockton, but later moved to Quincy, and ended up back in Brockton where he spent the rest of his life.
He was the husband of his late wife Paula Salmons for over 40 years, and is survived by his family Joanne & John Ayala, Robert & Tina Salmons, Tammy & Donald Stagnone, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and best friend George Mulchione. Also, there is his late son Paul Mullen who is no longer with us, however, always had a place in his heart.
Tommy was an incredible man with an incredible heart. Helping others wasn’t just something he was good at, but something he always wanted to do. May he rest in the sweetest peace.
