Obituary for Terry Ray Boyer
Terry Ray Boyer died peacefully at his home in Dorchester, Monday May 30, 2022.
Born and raised in Festus, Missouri, Terry served in the US Army for six years during the Vietnam era. Upon discharge, he settled in Dorchester and worked in the security department at Carney Hospital for several years. He was a truck driver for the US Postal Service, retiring as a dispatch supervisor.
Terry was a Past Commander of the John P. McKeon Post, Dorchester. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, attending car shows and driving and caring for his Ford Mustang.
Beloved husband of Jane K. (Mullaney) Boyer. Loving father of Thomas P. Boyer of Dorchester and the late Michael L. Boyer. Brother of Vicky Reardon of Festus, MO and the late John Boyer and Joseph Boyer. Son of the late Joseph A. and Nettie M. (Allen) Boyer. Brother-in-law of Mary Mullaney, Ann Mullaney, Robert Mullaney Richard Mullaney, Elizabeth Mullaney and the late Lawrence Mullaney.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Gregory Church, 2215 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester Friday June 3 at 12 Noon. (Please meet at church). Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, Thursday 4-8 PM. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Donations in Memory of Terry may be mad to the Veterans of Boston, 150 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130.
