Obituary for Shawn Bryant

Shawn Bryant of Dorchester passed away on October 6, 2026.

Shawn was born in Boston on February 22, 1969 to the late Winston Ford and Minnielee Bryant.

In addition to his parents, Shawn is preceded in death by his adored wife, Janella Bryant and his brother Lamont.

Shawn is survived by his children, Shawn Gallop, William Bryant, Shante Bryant and Marcus Bryant; 13 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, his siblings, Kerry, Ralph and Greg, as well as his spiritual brother, Chris. He is also survived by his second mother, Ms. Cookie and a host of other loved relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at Concord Baptist Church, 180 Blue Hill Avenue, Milton on Monday, October 19 from 10-11 AM. Funeral Service to begin at 11 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment in Fairview Cemetery.
