Sharon S. Meeks, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend; passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 72. She was born on March 24, 1952, in Boston, MA.

Sharon had a zest for life and was known for her vibrant personality and love for helping others. She dedicated over 25 years of her career to working at Carney Hospital, Father Bills, and Main Spring; where she made a positive impact on countless lives.

One of Sharon’s proudest accomplishments was graduating from Brighton High School and later attended multiple colleges where she obtained her degree in Criminal Justice. Her passion for justice and desire to make a difference in her community drover her throughout her life.

Sharon’s favorite hobbies included shopping, traveling, ad spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren. She was blessed with one daughter, Michelle Mack (Sir Dawayne Hicks). She was also a doting grandmother to Teanna and Jarron Mack. Sharon was blessed to experience the lover of her great-granddaughter, Milani’re Williams.

In addition to her immediate family, Sharon is surviced by her husband Walter Meeks Jr., brother Walter J. Mack, niece Tiffany Hogan, nephews Walter Mack Jr. and Justin Mack, great-nephew Xavier Clemente, as well as her step-son Walter Meeks III.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Walter and Juanita Mack, along with her sister Jacquelyn (Mack) Hogan.

Sharon will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of her family and friends. May she rest in peace.

Visitation will be held at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS on Friday, April 12th, starting at 10:00 AM. Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited.
