Obituary for Saul Markowitz

Saul Markowitz, 94 of Milton passed away July 31, 2023.

Born in Washington, D.C. of the late Edward and Leah (Gubinsky) Markowitz. He is a graduate of Northeastern University. A Certified Public Accountant in Milton and Dedham, Saul loved being a CPA working steadily right up through his retirement at the age of 88.

Beloved husband of Dorothy M. (Giovanditti) Markowitz. Loving stepfather of Carol Ann Cedrone, Michael Casale and Susan Hayward. Cherished grandfather of 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, Thursday August 10 at 11:00 AM. Family and friends invited. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10-11 AM. Burial Milton Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Saul's memory may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105

    A kind, wise, and honest man with a great sense of humour. Saul was our CPA for many years. We trusted his judgment. He is greatly missed. Our heartfelt condolences to Dorothy, his daughter, and family. May his soul rest in peace. He will live on in our memories.

    I am so so sad to learn of my fathers' passing. I wish it had been through another means than the internet. I would have been grateful to pay my respects at his funeral. He was a wonderful father when I was a child and I have many loving memories of him and my grandfather. My deepest condolences to all of his family on his loss.
