Obituary for Saincilien Agenor

Saintcillien Agenor passed away peacefully on February 3rd 2026. While we mourn his physical absence, we give thanks to God for the life he lived and the example he set. We find comfort in knowing that he has completed his earthly journey and now rests in eternal peace.

Saincillien was born on March 29, 1933 in Milot Haiti to Sylvert Agenor and Carmelia Tanis. From an early age, he was grounded in strong values, discipline, and faith—principles that guided him throughout his life and shaped the man he became.

He lived a beautiful life marked by hard work, integrity, and devotion to God. A tractor driver, farmer, and business owner, Saincillien was known for his tireless work ethics and his determination to leave a legacy behind. His work often took him beyond Haiti, including frequent travels to Nassau where he continued to labor with purpose and pride.

Above all else, Saincillien was a God-fearing man with great morals and a deep sense of responsibility toward those he loved. He believed in taking care of others, giving generously, and leading by example. His faith was not only spoken, but lived—through his actions, his character, and the way he showed up for his family and community.

He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Rose Belony Agenor, and a loving, committed father. More than anything, he loved his children deeply and worked tirelessly to give them a strong foundation rooted in faith, love, and responsibility.

He leaves behind his children:
Jocelyn, Eugene, Paul, Nedia, Delande, Kertis, Donald, Rejean, Bekuy, Carmelita, Merline, Rodlin, Frantz, Rodeline, Brown, Gaelle, Fabienne, Marise, He also left behind 50 grand children and 20 great grand children.

His legacy lives on through you, his children, and through your children—carried forward in the values he taught, the faith he modeled, and the love he gave so freely.

Viewing will be held at Rehoboth Baptist Church, 21 Church Street, Canton on Saturday February 14th from 9-10AM. Funeral Service will begin at 10AM. Interment at Canton Corner Cemetery

I remember when we first met, it was a shock to us both, I had your face and you mine lol. We laughed and talked about, then I was told you used to box! Then we sparred! That was the highlight of my trip. I will miss you old man. Tell my dad to keep a seat warm for me. Until next time grandpa
