Obituary for Rosemarie Pierre

Rosemarie Pierre was born on august 30 ,1944 to the late Alicia Theodat and Francois Abelard in Port au Prince, Haiti. At the age of 11 she met the love of her life, the late Joseph Pierre whom was an avid soccer player. At the age of 17 Rosemarie and Joseph joined each other in union. In 1970, Rosemarie came to America to join her best friend/husband. Together they raised 5 children ( 4 girls and one boy). Rosemarie devoted her life and her love to her children all while caring for others as a nursing assistant. She was nurturing in nature and enjoyed spreading love and kindness among all whom encountered her. Rosemarie was also a gifted cook. The aromas that would spread throughout her home would be those that would take you on a vacation to her home country, Haiti. She fed all who came in to her home. She embraced everyone and never would close a door to a soul. As she allowed other into her heart, She stole theirs. Rosemarie passed on April 14, 2023. She was well loved and will be missed dearly. Condolences

  • April 21, 2023

Condolences to the family and I'm sending healing energy in this unfortunate time. The short period of time I got to know Nunny was a pleasure. Nunny was smart, funny and gave off a genuine loving energy. She loved her T.G.I.F half slab rib dinners and lived to watch Haitian movies. I remember the first time I told Nunny i love her lol she looked at me as if to see if I had misspoke, so I said it again accompanied with a hug and she looked and smiled and said I love you too and ever since that day anytime I talked to her I made sure to tell her I love her at the end of our talk.. Nunny will surely be missed on this very sad day. I will never forget you,, I love you Nunny.. Your friend QEW.
