Robert Alden Howard, 77, of Naples, FL, Plymouth and formerly of Milton, passed away Thursday November 18, 2021.

Born in New Bedford to the late Chester and Charlotte (Casey) Howard. Robert graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Electrical Engineering and received his MBA from Northeastern University. He worked for The Boston Edison for 30 + years and the Calpine Company. Robert was a long-time member of the East Congregational Church in Milton, an avid golfer, volunteered for 13 years for the Plimoth Patuxet Museum and a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

Loving father of Robert Alden Howard, Jr., and his wife Suzanne of Milton and Rebecca Howard of Quincy. Cherished grandfather of Nathan and Isabella Howard. Robert is survived by his longtime partner Anne Lynch of Plymouth and his sisters Ann Barnes and her husband Don of FL and Jean Stacey and her husband Paul of Whitman.

Visiting hours will be held at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, Sunday November 21st from 1-5 PM. Family and friends invited. A private burial will follow.
