Obituary for Ricardo Colon
In Loving Memory of Ricardo Colon
Ricardo Colon, 62, of Roslindale, MA formerly of East Taunton passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in The Bronx, NY but grew up in Boston, Massachusetts.
βRichβ had the biggest and brightest smile that lit up every room he walked into. He loved to sing with his beautiful voice, attending every karaoke spot he could find. He spent countless times walking and riding his bike at his favorite park, Jamaica Pond, but his happy place was the beach. Oh, how he loved the beach.
He loved spending time with his family and friends and found enjoyment in volunteering and lending a helping hand wherever needed. He truly was an extraordinary person that filled our hearts with lots of laughter and love. He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.
He was preceded in death by his father Angel and his brother William Colon. He is survived by his wife, Yusy Leon-Colon; his mother Carmen Hilda Colon; his children, Jadon, Jaylene, Natalie, Ricardo βCoryβ, and stepson Richard Leon; his siblings Joseph, Albert, Aida, Anna, Carmen and Angel Colon Jr.; his grandchildren Laylanis, Yalanis, Serenity and Yanni; and his five nieces and seven nephews.
Family, friends and others whose lives Ricardo touched are invited to Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave, EAST MILTON SQUARE, MA from 4-8 PM on Thursday, March 14, 2024.
Private burial services will be held for immediate family.
