Obituary for Pierre Roland Bertrand

Pierre Roland Bertrand died on May 5, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Laurieuse (Louis) Bertrand and the late Eliphete Bertand in Port au Prince, Haiti on September 25, 1964.

Beloved husband of Mirielle Celeste Bertrand. Devoted father of Vanessa Bertrand, Bianca Bertrand, Roland Bertrand, Jr., Rameika Bertrand and Cherissa Bertrand. He is also survived by his mother, 5 sisters, 4 brothers, extended relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS on Friday, May 24th from 5-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel (St. Angela's), 1548 Blue Hill Avenue, MATTAPAN on Saturday, May 25th at 9AM. Interment at Fairview Cemetery.

    I am so saddened at the departure of this wonderful gentleman. I have had the honor to know and work with Roland for 20+ years, and so enjoyed his greeting and friendship. A great man. A treasured employee. Admired by the Gulf team for many years, not only at the store he worked at, but up and down the entire pike. We have missed you. See you again one day, dear friend.
