Paul Frederick Fortey, 51, of Dorchester, passed away on September 16th, 2024.
Paul truly lived life in the moment and brought joy everywhere he went. At any given moment you could find him on a tennis court, at the beach, or on a walk with his dog, Tippah. Paul could turn a room full of strangers into a room full of friends. He made everyone laugh and feel special.
Paul will be forever missed by countless friends and loved ones. Paul is survived by his partner of 16 years, Erin Sisk of Albuquerque, New Mexico; beloved son of Anne Marie Fortey and the late Frederick Fortey of Dorchester; sister Barbara Blaney of Braintree, sister Christine Joyce and brother-in-law John Joyce of Dorchester. As well as nieces Kaleigh Joyce and Kaitlyn Blaney and nephews Nicholas Blaney, Mark Blaney, Ryan Joyce, John Joyce, and Matthew Joyce.
The news of Paul's passing was an unreal shock. I just saw him for the first time in a long time back in July. Paul was always the life of the party and was to me that guy in the room that was going to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves. He was a friend you just hadn't met yet. You will be missed my friend. See you on the other side brother.

I only knew Paul through my brother, Kent, but I can say that he was funny and kind. My brother loved him, and that speaks highly of him. My deepest condolences to the family and friends.

May you rest in peace Paul Fortey. As a brother, you have always been there for us. Always with a smile, joke or story. And boy do you have some stories. The kids and I will miss all your texts, videos and phone calls. I will cherish every joyful and happy memory we have all created together. Until I see you again 🤍 Love you, Barbie

So sorry to hear that Paul had passed. What a funny and interesting person. Although our paths hadn't crossed in years, it sounds like he remained the same spirit. My condolences to his family and friends in this difficult time. He will be missed.

Paul will always have a special place in my heart. From jumping in a freezing pool during Thanksgiving in Texas to playing Aggravation. Paul made every experience with him a great time. I will miss his infectious smile and amazing mustache. His presence will be greatly missed. Love you Uncle Paul.

Paul was such a great friend to me and I will always remember his incredible energy and love for life. Some of the best times of my life were shared with paul. He had a special way with people and connected with positivity with everyone around him. I will always be thinking of Paul and believe this world is a little less special without his presence. Love you Paul Fortey.
