BROWN – Paul F., 74, of Quincy. Entered into eternal rest on October 1, 2023, peacefully at home.

A graduate of Cathedral High School, Paul earned an associate’s degree from Bryant & Stratton School of Business and attended the University of Miami. Early in his career Paul worked for the former Record American, now the Boston Herald, and later as a courier. He had an entrepreneurial spirit that challenged and sustained him throughout his life.

Paul was one of classic rock’s most dedicated fans, and he had an encyclopedic knowledge of the genre which he was eager to share with others. A gentle soul, he was deeply spiritual and loved his family.

Beloved son of the late Alva W. and Marie L. (Scully) Brown. Devoted brother of Richard A. of Milton, Robert F. of Leominster, Maureen A. of Milton, and the late Diane M. Brown. Loving brother-in-law of the late Lerita “Glee” Brown. Also survived by his former wife and good friend, Nanci Baren of Somerville, and many dear cousins and friends.

Memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 11th at the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave., EAST MILTON SQUARE at 11:00 am. Inurnment will be in Milton Cemetery, MILTON. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 11th from 10:00 – 11:00 am prior to the service.
