Obituary for Patrick Thomas Glynn
Patrick Thomas Glynn suffered a heart attack and passed away on Wednesday, July 9th at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge surrounded by his loving family.
Patrick was the beloved husband of Alycia L. Marucci, they were just shy of their 7th Anniversary and he was the proudest Dad of four-year-old Patrick Thomas Glynn Jr.
Patrick is also survived by his Mother Peggy Glynn, Sisters Colleen Glynn of North Reading, Mary O’Connor and husband David of Dorchester, Kerry Kubera of Milton, nieces and nephews, Bryan & Brendan Ritchie, Matthew & Catie O’Connor, Cameron & Tommy Kubera and Madeline McGraw. He is pre-deceased by his father Thomas P. Glynn, Sister Christine McGraw and niece Kristin Kubera.
Patrick worked as a Stagehand at the earliest age he could. He was a proud member of IATSE Local 11 following in his father’s footsteps. He worked for many years as a camera operator at Suffolk Downs, worked on countless pre-Broadway and Broadway touring shows, as well as many rock ‘n roll concerts and various live events in Boston. He was an incredibly gifted artist, and his artwork lives on the walls of the theaters he worked in and loved. He was super proud to be the Union Steward and Head of the Property Department at the Emerson Colonial Theatre.
