Patricia M. Powell, 70, of Abington MA, passed away peacefully at home on August 10, 2025.

Patricia was the daughter of the late Michael and Lillian Powell, stepdaughter to the late Dorothy Powell. She grew up primarily in Dorchester, attending Saint Gregory High School, before moving and graduating from Hingham High School. She later worked the majority of her career for the Massachusetts State Turnpike Authority, as a Cobalt IT Programmer in charge of the Authority’s payroll service. No matter where or what the situation was, Patricia was always known for her sharp wit and infectious laughter.

Patricia was the loving sister to Teresa Curley and her husband Michael of Duxbury, Michael Powell and his wife Janis of Milton, Donna McCone and the late Kevin McCone of Hingham, Barbara Nowak and her husband Wesley of Milton, John Powell and his wife Jill of Hull, Francis Powell and his wife Megan of Hingham. She was predeceased by her close friend, the late Pam Murphy. Throughout her entire life, she was always a generous and loving aunt to her 15 nephews and nieces and 12 grand nephews and nieces.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Agatha Church, 432 Adams Street, Milton Tuesday August 19 at 10:30 AM. Family and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, Monday August 18 from 4-8 PM and gathering at the funeral home prior to the mass at 9:30 AM. Burial will be held at Mount Benedict Cemetery in West Roxbury, MA.
