Norma Whyles of Mattapan passed away on July 26, 2022. She was 101 years old.

Beloved mother of Carrol Nugent of Mattapan, Heather Gordon of Jamacia Plain, Garry Whyles of Dorchester and Warren Whyles of Brockton. Cherished grandmother of 16 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.

Norma was born and raised in Jamaica. She migrated to the United States in 1977 and settled in Boston. Norma was known for her kind nature and was a great storyteller. She enjoyed gardening, and watching her soap operas. Most of all Norma loved her family who were the cornerstone of her life, she was a fierce defender and protector to everyone she loved.

Visiting hour on Friday August 12, 2022, 11AM-12PM in the Peoples Baptist Church, 830 Tremont Street, Boston. Funeral Service will follow at 12:00PM. Interment in St. Michael Cemetery, Boston.
