Norma Iris Gonzalez, 68, of Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

Born on June 11, 1958, in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, Norma lived a life rooted in faith, compassion, and service. A devoted Christian, she trusted God throughout her life and inspired those around her with her strength, kindness, and unwavering love.

Norma was a dedicated Registered Nurse, earning bachelor’s degrees from Northeastern University and UMass Boston. Caring for others was not only her profession but also her calling, and she touched countless lives through her compassion and generosity.

Her greatest joy was her family. She treasured every opportunity to bring loved ones together, especially through cherished Puerto Rican traditions. She loved making homemade pasteles with family, preparing coquito during the Christmas season, baking pies, listening to salsa music, and spending time doing crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles with her children and grandchildren. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and love.

Norma will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering faith, selfless heart, and the love she shared so freely with everyone she met. Her legacy of kindness, resilience, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving children, cherished grandchildren, extended family, and many dear friends who will forever hold her memory close.

Visitation will be held at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS on Monday, August 3 from 6 - 9PM. A Funeral Service will be help on Tuesday, August 4 in the funeral home at 10:00, with a visitation prior to the service from 9 - 10 AM. Interment in Forest Hills Cemetery. Relatives and friends invited.
