Nicholas Tackoor, born on January 17, 1978, in Boston, Massachusetts, passed away on August 29th, 2024, surrounded by loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of joy, laughter, and love. He was the beloved son of his father, the late Clementi Lewis and his mother, Serena Tackoor. Nicholas was the youngest cherished sibling to his sister, Tara Christmas, and his brothers, Puranchand Tackoor, Clementi Lewis, Trevohn Lewis, and Bishma Tackoor. And he was a loving grandfather to his grandson.

Xaibian Emile Nicholas was a devoted father to his daughters: Deja Meuse, Madison Austin, and Kimora Holt, and his sons: Nicholas Meuse and Micah Austin.

Known for his positive, comedic energy, Nicholas was truly the life of the party, with a loud and comforting presence that could light up any room. His entrepreneurial spirit was evident in everything he did, always striving to create and build a better future for his family. Nicholas was truly a gentle giant and was a firm believer in containing himself.

It wasn nearly impossible to see him down. And if he was, you probably wouldn’t ever notice. His generosity, and inclusiveness allowed him to never be afraid to express his feelings, thoughts or opinions. Secure within, he knew who he was and if you knew him, you knew who he was as well. With an ambitious heart, he was a critical thinker whose mind consistently worked.

Groomed and nurtured by a deeply religious mother, he gave his life to Christ at a young age. He was a member of the Keys of the Kingdom Tabernacle of Prayer for all people Inc. under the leadership of Apostle Naomi Burton. Even though Nicholas wasn’t an active member of a church or community, he still loved the lord. Throughout triumphs and tribulations, he still expressed his love for the Lord. He understood the Lord’s presence in his life and was content with his blessings.

Admiring and embracing his background, his Caribbean heritage not only illustrated, but demonstrated his love for his culture.

He knew that there was no life without the lord, so he lived his life thanking him. Growing up in Boston, Nicholas formed deep and lasting friendships. He considered his childhood friends as brothers, maintaining close bonds throughout his life. He was known for his loyalty and the love he shared with them, treating them as family. Nicholas’s greatest joy was his family. He loved spending time with his children and relatives, creating memories filled with laughter and love.

His sense of humor, warmth, and zest for life were a constant source of inspiration and joy to all who knew him.

A Funeral Service will be held, Saturday, September 7, 2024 in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, at 4 pm. Visiting Hour 3-4 pm. Interment Private.
