Nancy Marie (Ranahan) Tracy, 76, formerly of Quincy, Massachusetts passed away in Port Charlotte, Florida on the 17th of November 2021 after a protracted illness. She was the daughter of the late J. Thomas Ranahan and Mary Helen (Wiseman) Ranahan also of Quincy. She was one of seven children.

Nancy attended parochial school through high school in the Dorchester area. She worked at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Dorchester, Massachusetts as a switchboard operator and in the payroll department prior to moving to Plainfield, Indiana where she became the payroll manager of a national cemetery and mausoleum company. In 2008, she retired to Port Charlotte, Florida.

Nancy was predeceased by her parents, her sisters Marilyn Caldwell and Marjorie “Cookie”, and by her brothers James Stanley “Danny”, Robert “Bobby” and Joseph. She is survived by her husband, Edward H. Tracy, brother, John Thomas Ranahan Jr., and many nieces and nephews. She loved her family, her pets, and her many friends in Massachusetts, Indiana, and in Florida. She also enjoyed traveling, gardening, canning, and raising fruit.

On May 21st, Nancy’s funeral mass will be held at St. Agatha’s Church in Milton, MA at 10:30 followed by a private reception.
