Nancy A. (McCarty) Digiacomo, 77, of Quincy, passed away on May 24, 2021.

Born in Boston to the late Leo J. and Mary R. (Burke) McCarty, Nancy was a graduate of Gate of Heaven High School in South Boston, MA. She was a retired Director of Data Processing at Mass. Eye and Ear Infirmary.

Nancy loved all things Irish, was a voracious reader, loved to sing and listen to all kinds of music, especially Sinatra and Streisand. She generously donated to many charities, in particular St. Jude’s Children’s Foundation.

Nancy was a devout Catholic and a proud American, but her greatest joy and love belonged to her beloved husband, the late Peter “Pete” Digiacomo. Loving sister of Paul F. McCarty and his wife Elaine of Bridgewater, Leo D. McCarty of Weymouth, Jane M. Markey and her husband James of Quincy, Marian Reid of Plymouth, Kathleen M. Joyce and her husband Michael of Milton and the late John P. McCarty. Nancy is survived by many nieces and nephews. She adored her family, especially her grandnieces and grandnephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 550 Washington Street, Quincy, Wednesday, June 2nd at 10:00 AM. Family and friends invited. Visiting hours at the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, Tuesday from 4-7 PM. Interment Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne on Wednesday at 2:00PM.
