In lieu of flowers, the Sheehan family respectfully requests that donations be made to one of two charitable causes dear to Michelle’s heart. One, the Sato Project, is dedicated to the rescue and adoption of abused and abandoned dogs. The Sato Project was instrumental in 2014 when Michelle, Danny and their son, Danny, adopted their lovable dog named George. The other charitable consideration may be a donation to The Jordan Jenkins Memorial Scholarship Fund. Jordan was a very dear friend and coathlete of young Danny’s in Scituate. Michelle welcomed Jordan into the family, like a son and a brother to Danny. He sadly passed away in July of 2017 and a scholarship fund was set up to recognize other ideal teammates in his memory. Either contribution would serve as a beautiful tribute to Michelle, who gave so much to help so many others.
