Mary C. (Meehan) Coles, of Milton April 15, 2025, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late Herbert B. Coles. Loving mother of Mary C. Coles of Milton, Linda J. Coles of Norwood and the late Carolyn M. Leary. Cherished grandmother of Megan McGonagle and her wife Melissa Sheber, John McGonagle and Brian McGonagle.

Mary attended Jeanne d’Arc Academy in Milton and Marymount College in Tarrytown, NY. Mary was most happy spending time with her family. Her summer home and beach in Manomet was a gathering place for her daughters, grandchildren and “fur babies”. Love, laughter and joy filled every moment she spent with her family. Mary also enjoyed taking trips with her husband and family members. She particularly enjoyed trips to Bermuda, Florida, California and anyplace her grandchildren lived.

She was predeceased by her parents Dr. James and Mary (Smith) Meehan and her siblings Janet Murphy, Katherine Murphy, Elaine Bortolotti and James Meehan. Mary is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and her son-in-law George Leary.
