Marie-Jeanine was a mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who was born in Caroix--Ges Bouquete, Haiti September 8, 19­­­28. While living in Haiti to provide for her family working as a hat maker and for 18years worked at Boulanger Morel as a cashier. Jeanine migrated to Boston, MA on October 17, 1971 to join her daughter, Denise. Once she settled in this new country, she got a job as a babysitter, followed by her job at Swiss Chalet as a housekeeper until she retired. Jeannine was a hard worker with a big heart.

Marie-Jeanine Osse passed away peacefully on May 14, 2023.

She was the oldest of two children, was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Roseda (German) Osse and her brother Jean-Pierre. She is survived by her loving daughter Marie-Denise Fenelon, three granddaughters: Margaret Fenelon, Emanuela Smith and Alexandra Fenelon.

Marie-Jeannie was a loving person with a big heart who was blessed with seven great-grandchildren: Kimmya Cabral, Mario Wolff Jr., Brandon Wolff, Isabella Robb, Emanuel Smith, Madeline Smith, and Christian Smith, and one great-great grandson Phoenix Wheeler; all of whom she loved very much.

Visitation will be held at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS on Thursday, May 25th from 10-11 AM. Funeral Home Service to begin at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 920 Adams Street, Dorchester.
