Marianne (Santa Lucia) Baker died peacefully at her Weymouth home, Tuesday December 3, 2024.

She is survived by her beloved husband, John F. Baker of Weymouth and her son and daughter in law, Ed Mazurkiewicz & Jamie Lewis of Charlestown.

Born in Boston, Marianne was raised in Saint Margaret’s Parish, Dorchester. Through the years she owned & operated pizza, ice cream and fish and chips shops in Dorchester, where she loved interacting with the people in her community. She formerly served both as an Emergency Medical Technician and a phlebotomist and was the founder of Baker & Associates Appraisal Inc. over 20 years ago.

Marianne was a fitness enthusiast and racquetball champion at the Boston Athletic Club in South Boston, where she was a longtime member. She was known for her generous heart & outgoing personality and will be deeply missed by friends & family alike.

Visitation at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, Sunday December 15 from 2-3 PM. All are invited.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Marianne's memory may be made to Tunnels to Towers Foundation, St. Jude Children's Hospital or St. Anthony Shrine, Boston. The links are posted above.
