Maria Centeio also known as "Belu" was born on February 12th 1934 and passed on April 26th, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones. Belu was born and raised in Cape Verde, migrating to America later on in her life. She is the widower of Manuel Centeio and is survived by her two siblings Arnestina & Adriano Sequeira. Belu leaves behind her 10 children, 2 Stepchildren, 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Saint Peter's Parish, 311 Bowdoin Avenue, DORCHESTER on Friday, May 10th from 5-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 11th. at 10AM at Saint Peter's Parish, 311 Bowdoin Avenue, DORCHESTER. Interment at New Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends invited.
