Maria Castillo, 80, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on January 3, 1945, Maria recently celebrated her 80th birthday, reflecting a life filled with love, devotion, and cherished memories.

Maria was the beloved wife of the late Luis Castillo, who preceded her in death in 2023. Together, they shared a beautiful partnership rooted in love and mutual respect.

Maria leaves behind her brother, Jose Suazo, and her two nieces, Olga Marin and Dafny Argueta, who brought her endless joy and pride. She will also be missed by extended family members and countless friends who were touched by her kindness, wisdom, and nurturing spirit.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 13th, at 11AM in St. Mark Church, 1725 Dorchester Avenue. Visitation will be held at the church from 10-11AM. Interment at Fairview Cemetery. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend.
