Obituary for Margaret Christina (Gavin) Barrett

Margaret C. Barrett (Gavin) of Milton on January 24, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Joseph T. Barrett. Loving daughter of the late John and Nora Gavin.

Loving mother of Linda McDonough and her husband Jeffrey Rowe of Norwood, Joseph Barrett and his wife Lisa of Hanover and Karen Murphy and her husband Patrick of Osterville. Sister of Maura Hurley, and the late Teresa Tierney, Michael Gavin, and Judy Hutchinson.

Dear "Nana" to her grandchildren; Annie, Joseph and wife Amelia, Shannan and husband Michael, Olivia, Brianna, Norah and Fiona and great grandchildren Joey and Peter. She is remembered as a devoted supporter of her children and grandchildren, and a lover of a good cup of tea and a scone.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 30 at 11:30 AM at Our Lady of the Visitation Parish, Saint Elizabeth Church, 350 Reedsdale Road, Milton. Prior to Mass, Visitation will take place from 9:30 to 11 AM at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave., EAST MILTON SQUARE, followed by Interment at Milton Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
