Leigha Michelle Fontaine, daughter of the late Diedra Fontaine and Oliver A. Fontaine. She was born April 23, 1965 in Boston Massachusetts. Her soul left the physical world on June 2, 2024. She loved life and dealt with life on its terms. Leigha was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt and partner. She loved to be surrounded by family, fun activities and adventure. She had a humble spirit, enjoyed cooking and had an eye for fashion. A true fashionista. Leigha has always been very thoughtful, most times putting others’ needs before her own. She always remembered everyone’s birthday and had gifts to match. Leigha has and will always be a vibrant soul.

Leigha was the light of any party, room or door she walked through. The most appreciative person of any and all. A fierce role model and a one who never backed down from anyone.

Her earthly roles were many…. but she is affectionately known as Aunty Starstory and Onte Leigha but mainly “SHE IS THE KEEPER OF THE CHILDREN”. When we say children, we mean all the children. She was the aunt who took the kids on all types of adventures whether it was camping, the beach, water parks and let’s not forget imaginary adventures as well. The best Aunt any person can ask for, a true angel, rockstar and creative.

Leigha leaves to cherish behind her husband James Grady, step daughter Jamilah Unique, sisters Kim Fontaine, Joi Fontaine, Mika Fontaine, nieces Unique Edwards, Jahleeka Morris-Jones, Arian Harvey, Divine Truth Morris, Oasis Pritchett, Destiny Star Collins, grandchildren Alyza Rosario, Zoe Rosario, great nephews Jacai Knight Fontaine, Davion Spann (resting peacefully), Sincere Fontaine, great nieces and nephews Myjoi, Maliyah, Marcus, Kari and Imahni, Aunts Beverly, Janaki, Indria and uncle Ronald Watson. Leigha is predeceased by her parents Oliver and Diedra Fontaine.

Visitation on Sunday, June 9th 12:00PM- 1:00 PM in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, Dorchester Lower Mills. Funeral Service in the Funeral Home at 1 PM. Cremation will follow.
