Obituary for Larriston S. Lake

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Larriston Lake, who departed this life on October 24, 2025, in Everett, Massachusetts, following a tragic crane related incident at his work.

Larriston was born on September 25, 1981 in Christiansted, St. Croix, USVI to Claudette Francis and Lariston Lake. From the very beginning, he brought light, laughter, and love into the world. After leaving St. Croix Larriston spend some of his formative years in Tortola, BVI before relocating to Roslindale, MA where he still resided at his time of death.

Larriston’s large personality and generous spirit touched countless lives and he will be remembered as a man who was truly full of life. He was a devoted father, loving son, caring brother, a loyal friend and a passionate worker.

Larriston loved working in construction and took immense pride in being part of a union as a skilled trade worker, first as a member of Ironworkers Local 7 and most recently as a member of Piledrivers Local 56. He was considered reliable and a leader by many of his coworkers.

To know Larriston was to know someone genuine, someone who would lend a hand, share a laugh, and stand by your side. To his loved ones, he was a protector, a source of strength, and, as many would say, “a big brother to all.”

Larriston is survived by his mother Claudette Francis, his father Lariston Lake, his beloved children, Dekouri Lake, Jayden Hardin-Lake, Nasir Lake, and Ayleen Lake; his brothers Julian Lake and Jared Willock, his sisters Jamelia Willock, Diamond Lake and Ruthanna Antoine, his nephew Dimitri Lake and his niece Lydia Oruade. He will also be remembered fondly by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, coworkers, and friends who were blessed to share in his journey.

Though his time with us was far too short, Larriston’s legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on in all who knew him. His spirit will forever shine in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

May his soul rest in eternal peace. You are forever loved.
