Lamar Timothy Johnson was born on May 30, 1981, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Patricia Johnson and Mark Jackson. He attended Wayland High School in Wayland Mass, further his education at the University of Hartford in Connecticut, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Lamar was employed by John Hancock Insurance Company in Boston, working in the Information Technology Department. His outstanding work ethic earned him a promotion to Senior Analyst. He took pride in his work and was admired by his colleagues.

Lamar had a true passion for life. He was dedicated to fitness, starting each day at the gym. He played pickup basketball twice a week, loved the thrill of dirt bike riding and dancing. His hobbies brought him joy, but it was his time with family and friends that meant the most to him.

He had a big heart and a giving spirit. His grandmothers held a special place in his life, and he never hesitated to do anything they asked. Lamar’s legacy of love, loyalty, and deep family connection will be cherished always by all who knew and loved him.

Lamar leaves to cherish his loving memory parents Patricia Johnson and Mark Jackson. He is survived by siblings Nathaniel E. Jackson, Daniel P. Jackson, Destiny Johnson, and was preceded in death by Keith Johnson.

Wishing you comfort and peace to face the days ahead and loving memories to hold in your heart. I enjoyed many times watching different sporting event with Lamar. He was such a Celtic Red Sox and Patriot fan but i could never get him to watch or route for the Bruins. So lucky to have had Lamar in my life. Sandra O'Brien
