Kathleen Marie (Sullivan) McLoughlin, 80, of Wellesley Hills, MA passed away Sunday March 7, 2021 at Newton Wellesley Hospital surrounded by her family after a brief illness.

Kathy was born in Boston, MA to John Sullivan and Eleanor (Foster) Sullivan on her father’s birthday, April 10th. She completed her undergraduate degree in Nursing at Boston College and her Masters degree at Salem State College. For 24 years, Kathy taught nursing at St. Elizabeth’s School of Nursing in Brighton, MA. She was an active parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Wellesley for 70 years. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Kathy enjoyed music, community theatre and spending summers in Wells, Maine.

Kathy was the beloved wife of the late Frank McLoughlin of New York City, NY. Kathy is survived by her five children; Francis A McLoughlin, Jr. of Wellesley, Mary Keefe and her husband Edward, Jr. of Carver, Deirdre Dreslough and her husband Clayton of California, Eileen Christiansen and her husband Charles, Jr. of Melrose and John McLoughlin of Maine. She was grandmother to Eleanor Dreslough and grandmother-in-law to Matthew Keefe and his wife Isabella. Kathy was great grandmother to Joshua, Mackenzie and Michael Keefe. Kathy is also survived by her sister, Elaine (Sullivan) Quinan and brother in law, Robert Quinan and her sister in law Patricia McLoughlin as well as many nieces and nephews.

There will be a private family service now with a memorial gathering of family and friends at a later date.
