Obituary for Judith "Judy" A. Camelio

Judith A. Camelio “Judy” (Ierardi) of Milton passed away peacefully on August 16, 2024, surrounded by her loving children.

Judy was born on February 17,1944 in Boston to the late Anna (Pascarelli) and late Dominick Ierardi. She spent her early years in Dorchester before moving to Weymouth. She graduated from Weymouth High School and worked as an administrative assistant in the Attorney General’s office where she met and married the love of her life, Gus, before leaving the workforce to be a full-time homemaker.

Beloved wife of the late Augustus J. Camelio, Esquire. Devoted mother of Andrea Waldt and her husband Patrick of Abingdon, MD, Maria Karimbakas and her husband Charles of Milton and John Camelio and his wife Erin of Rockland. Loving sister of the late Richard P. Ierardi and his wife Evelyn of Weymouth. Cherished grandmother of Emily and Kathryn Karimbakas and Madeline and Sara Waldt. Also survived by six nieces and nephews, many cousins and friends.

Judy was a devoted wife and mother, and her greatest love was cooking and nourishing family and friends. Sunday Italian dinners and holidays were her pride and joy. She was commonly dropping cheesecakes off at the church rectory or making fudge to say thank you for just about anything. She volunteered at Milton Hospital for 14 years and was a friend to all that knew her.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, August 20th at St. Agatha Parish, 432 Adams St., MILTON at 10:30 am. Interment in Milton Cemetery, MILTON. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 20th at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON from 9:00 – 10:00 am, prior to the Mass.
