Obituary for Judith Ann Wheeler
Judith Ann “Judy” Wheeler, age 87, of Milton, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2026.
Beloved wife of the late Edward J. Wheeler, Judy was a devoted and loving mother to Tracey Wheeler of New Hampshire, Teddy Wheeler and his wife Sarah of Maine, and Richard Wheeler and his wife Colleen of Milton. She was the cherished grandmother of Casey Baker, Alexander Baker, Danielle Desroches, Richard Wheeler Jr. and Samantha Wheeler.
Judy was predeceased by her siblings Roberta Doyle Graham, Richard Doyle Jr., and Frank Doyle, and was the beloved daughter of the late Olive (Wade) and Richard Doyle. She was also a treasured aunt to many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Born and raised in Canton, Massachusetts, Judy later settled in Milton, where she and Ed built their family and their life together. After many years in Milton, they moved to Florida before eventually returning home to Milton.
Judy worked for many years at Lord & Taylor, where she was known for her kindness, work ethic, and warm presence. Outside of work, she found joy in playing tennis, taking daily walks, and most of all, the game of golf, which she loved deeply.
Judy’s Catholic faith was the cornerstone of her life. She served her church community with devotion — as a lector, eucharistic minister, and dedicated volunteer — both at St. Elizabeth’s in Milton and during her years in Florida. Her faith guided her, sustained her, and shaped the way she cared for others.
Judy will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her unwavering love for her family, and the grace with which she lived her life.
