Juanita Dunbar was born on June 2, 1966, in Boston, Massachusetts, to the late Wilhelmina Dunbar and William Wright. Juanita departed this life on September 20, 2026, at the age of 60, leaving behind a lifetime of memories that will forever be treasured by those who knew and loved her.

Juanita was a proud and loving mother, devoted partner, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Above all, family meant everything to her. She loved bringing the people she cared about together and creating memories that would last a lifetime. Her love could be felt through the time she spent with her family, the laughter they shared, and the many special moments that made being together so meaningful.

Juanita was the proud mother of her four children, Johnny Dunbar, Lawrissa Dunbar, Khadejah Raynor, and Lauryn Dunbar. She was also a loving grandmother to Armani Fernandes, Ava Dunbar, Ashari Dunbar-Watson, Jack Dunbar, and Azyah Greene. Her children and grandchildren held a very special place in her heart. The love, lessons, memories, and traditions she shared with them will continue to be carried on for generations.

Juanita knew how to enjoy life. She loved shopping and listening to music, two things that always brought her happiness. But some of the most unforgettable memories were made surrounded by family and friends, especially during her cookouts on Zeigler. Those gatherings were about more than food—they were about family, music, laughter, conversations, and simply enjoying being together. Those moments will now be cherished even more by everyone who had the pleasure of sharing them with her.

Juanita had a way of leaving memories wherever she went. Whether it was a favorite song playing, a shopping trip, a family gathering, or simply sitting around laughing and talking, the people who loved her will continue to find pieces of Juanita in the moments they shared with her.

Juanita was predeceased by her two brothers, Lawrence Dunbar and Gerald Dunbar. She leaves to cherish her memory her siblings, Sheila Dunbar, David Dunbar, and Shawn Dunbar, and her half-brother, Tyrone Wright, along with her loving partner Lawrence Raynor ,children, grandchildren, extended family, and many loved ones and friends who will deeply miss her presence.

While Juanita may no longer be physically present, the love she gave and the memories she created will never leave. Her family will continue to speak her name, share her stories, play the music she loved, remember the good times, and keep the traditions that brought everyone together.

Her life will not only be remembered by the day she left this earth, but by the 60 years of love, laughter, family, and memories she gave to those fortunate enough to know her.

Juanita will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
