Joseph P. Cavanaugh, Jr., 70, of Randolph and formerly of Hyde Park, passed away March 10, 2022.

Predeceased by his parents Joe, Sr., and Norma (Bodi) Cavanaugh. Dear brother of Kenneth of Quincy and Gary of Randolph, and his stepsister Paula. Joe is also survived by his aunts, uncles, and cousins.

After graduating from High School, he joined the Navy. Upon his return Joe went to work at Nyex now (Verizon) for 30 years. After retirement he worked as a seasonal maintenance worker at a Sandwich facility on Cape Cod. Joe enjoyed the outdoors, boating, hunting, and fishing, he was a canal rat. His biggest joy was raising his Brittany Spaniels who he referred to as his best friends! Lots of people would call him the Quiet-Man! Jo-Jo = A brothers love is a brothers love, RIP Ken

Visiting hours will be held at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, Friday March 18th from 4-7 PM. Family and friends invited.
