Obituary for Joseph Campisi

Joseph Campisi 77 of Taunton, passed away on January 30, 2022.

Beloved husband of Gisela (Sena) Campisi. Loving father of Joseph Campisi Jr. and Gina Campisi. Grandfather of Victoria, Brianna and James. Brother of Anthony Campisi and the late Salvatore Campisi and his wife Patricia Campisi. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Gregory Church, 2215 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester on Tuesday February 8th at 10am. Interment at Cedar Grove Cemetery.

    Here it is June 26, 2026. Just the heck of it. I thought I'd look up Joe Joe used to be our detail at our bar in Quincy market called Lilly's piano bar. I worked there for 10 years and I get to know Joe a little bit at first I thought he was a bit over the top. But then again when I saw all the situations where he saved our ass I said this is pretty cool. I got to the point where I started to take lessons from Joe at his school down in the South Shore. I lived in Randolph and it was the next town over. Unfortunately, it didn't last long because I moved out of Randolph and I was too far away for me to commute. But him and I struck up a pretty good friendship and he respected me a lot, and I respected him more than a lot, and I always wondered what happened to him and now I just found out. I wish I had known at the time I would've attended the wake and the funeral. Rest in peace, my brother !!!Christopher Marqus for a bartender at Lillie's piano bar.
