Joseph Blanchard Leveque was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti on July 27, 1933. He died in Boston, MA on December 21, 2021 at the age of 88.

Blanchard grew up and was educated in Haiti. He arrived in Boston, MA in 1978. He worked at the Park Plaza Hotel in Boston until his retirement at the age of 65.

He loved to spend time with his family and attend Sunday church services.

Blanchard leaves behind his children, Jean Sterlin – Leveque of Brockton, Marjorie Leveque of Randolph, Rose Angelique of Brockton, Wildens Leveque of Texas, Nadine Leveque of Stoughton, Daniel Leveque of New Hampshire and Michel Leveque of Swampscott. Also survived by 24 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service Thursday, December 30, 2021 in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, at 11 o’clock. Visiting Hours 9-11 am. Interment Oak Lawn Cemetery.
