Obituary for Jean E. Dupervil

Jean E. Dupervil, 78 of Dorchester, died on March 12, 2026. He was born to the late Emma Dupervil and Charles Leger in Cabaret, Haiti on December 4, 1947.

OBITUARY DETAILS COMING SOON.

Visitation will be held at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS on Friday, March 20th from 5-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Most Precious Blood Church, 25 Maple Street, HYDE PARK on Saturday, March 21st at 10:30AM. Interment at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends invited.

    Jean, Erick, Rico, Nano, Uncle, but I knew him as grandpa. Grandpa was the epitome of sacrifice and what it means to be a father. He was the only father figure in our lives despite having actual fathers in our lives, but I'm not going to get into that. I remember him driving me around in the front seat of his car, my feet barely touching the ground. Although I was too short for the front seat of his car, it didn't matter to him because he always wanted me to be close with him. And we grew that close bond, and it is something that I will always cherish. I am grateful for him forever.
