Obituary for Jean Clarence Avril

Our beloved Jean Clarence Avril lost his battle with cancer Monday June 24th 2024.

Clarence was born on Thursday March 14, 1985, at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn New York, to the union of the late Jean Claude Avril and Dr. Myrtha Louissaint. At 6 months of age he moved to Haiti where he spent his childhood. Clarence attended St. Therese during both primary and secondary school. When Clarence was 5 years old his brother Fabrice was born and they instantly became inseparable. As a child, Clarence enjoyed watching television, playing soccer, and basketball. Listening to music was also a passion of his, along with summers in New York where he loved the time spent with his cousins, aunts, and grandmother.

At 17, Clarence moved back to New York to further his education. He attended Tilden High School. Upon graduation, Clarence attended Brooklyn College where he earned his Bachelor’s of Arts in Business Management. He went on to work at The Comptroller’s Office then the Department of Housing Preservation and Development of New York City as a Violations and Repair Coordinator.

Shortly after, Clarence then met Tatiana, the love of his life. They tied the knot on August 2nd, 2019 and decided to settle in Quincy, MA. The love between them was infectious. Clarence made it a priority to be an example of what true love in a marriage should look like.

Clarence enjoyed his career as a Fiscal Analyst for The Municipal Police Training Committee. Known for his hard work, likable demeanor, and funky socks Clarence was valued by all of his colleagues. The impact of his career helped shape him into the man that he was.

He is survived by his wife Tatianna Cadet, his mother Dr. Myrtha Avril, his brother Fabrice Avril and his grandmother Henriette Loussaint. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Clarence will be missed by his loving family and will forever be in our hearts.

Clarence radiated a contagious enthusiasm for life that colored every aspect of who he was. While his boundless love and vitality were unmistakable, it was his enduring warmth, kindness, and unwavering optimism that truly set him apart. A steadfast pillar of support, Clarence was the trusted confidant and compassionate listener for all who knew him.

Although Clarence's presence will be deeply missed by those fortunate enough to have known him, his legacy of love and compassion will forever leave an indelible mark in our hearts.

Clarence was born on March 14, 1985 to Jean Claude Avril and Myrtha Louissant. Beloved husband of Tatiana Cadet. Loving brother of Fabrice Isaac Avril.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Mary Parish, 211 N Main Street, Randolph on Friday, July 5th at 10:30AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Private.

    My condolences my brother. Remembering first time meeting you at boxing we had an amazing conversation. I wanted to bring you to church so many time which I know eventually you would come and I never lost faith. Hearing this is a shock and I Pray that God watch over your family.
