Beloved son of Bernie Smith and Eddie β€œRonnie” Morris. Loving father of Kayla Lord. Brother of Barbara Smith, Paula Prout, Katrina Williams, Terry Allen, and Teddy Allen. Shaun was a kind, quiet, reserved young man, and he was a homebody. He had a bright infectious smile that lit up the room. He was very intelligent and an excellent artist. Shaun was funny, creative, and a great cook. He prided himself in being fit and worked out all the time in his home gym. He was a true handyman and could fix anything. Shaun had a green-thumb and loved gardening. Shaun was fiercely protective of this family and was especially proud of his daughter Kayla. He made it known that he loved his sisters, nieces, and nephews and they equally loved him back. All the kids instantly loved Uncle Shaun and always looked for him when they visited Nanny’s house. Ja’Shaun Attended Mason Elementary School and John D. O’Bryan High School both in Roxbury. Shaun was an executive Assistant in the Computer tech industry. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known and loved him.

I didn't know Ja'Shaun personally but I would see him in passing at our days at O'Bryant High and even on his walk to school coming out of a side street near OP. I just remembered him as being quiet. Shocked to hear the news...my heart goes out to his family and friends. Rest in peace.

Shaun my sweet brother from another mother. I was truly heartbroken when I heard the news, I couldn't believe it. I said they must be talking about someone else. I remember the day my girls asked if you were their Uncle and I said of course. The first time they called you Uncle Shaun you just smiled and gave them both hugs, they were so happy that they had another Uncle to ask to take them to the store to buy candy and chips..Lol Your smile could light up a room and I'm going to truly miss that smile. You will be truly missed and never ever forgotten. Our hearts are broken πŸ’”πŸ’” The girls and I will love you forever. Rest Easy BroπŸ™πŸΎπŸ™πŸΎ Kendra, Kyleigha and Kiyana Durrett
