Obituary for Jane Marie (Doyle) Trebino

Jane Marie Trebino, Age 57, of Norwell, formerly of South Boston, passed away on Monday, March 10th. Born and raised in South Boston, she was the beloved daughter of the late William and Margaret (Casey) Doyle. Jane worked as a tax professional for over 25 years, but her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was her family. Above all, Jane was the best mother—devoted, loving, and fiercely protective. She was always there for her children and her husband, supporting their dreams, cheering them on at practices and games, helping them study for exams, or simply offering a comforting presence. Her love knew no bounds, and her family was the heart of her world.

Jane had a deep love for travel, finding joy in exploring new places and experiencing different parts of the world each year. Her favorites included Austria, Iceland, Ireland, and South Dakota.

She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Edward Trebino and the loving mother of George and his fiancé Jaime Tierney, Alyssa, and Joseph Trebino, all of Norwell. She was the cherished sister of the late Michael Doyle and Matthew Doyle. Jane is also survived by her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Stephen Trebino and his wife Vivienne of Hingham; Patricia Trebino and her husband Michael Ryan of Needham; and Anne Trebino of Kittery, ME. Beloved aunt to Lisa, Diana, Lianne, William, and Joshua.

To the Doyle and Trebino families. I am so shocked and saddened by this news. Jane did my family's taxes for the last 15 years and always gave us the best advice. She was so thoughtful and intelligent. She steered us in the right direction year after year and she will be so missed. Just saw her in February and I can't believe I won't be sitting across from her next February. Our sincerest condolences at this most difficult time The Varner Family Braintree, Ma

My name is Alex and I was a tax client of hers from 2010 to present, and she is the best at what she did. She always did right by me when it was tax season. To the Trebino Family, Our condolences to the loss of your beloved mom. I was lucky to get to know her through her late husband, and my friend Tom from THP. She was a wonderful person and I was fortunate enough to meet her and exchange family Christmas cards over the past 16+ years. Our sympathies to the family at your loss. Sincerely John and Betsy Chiros (THP)

How can I being l begin to choose a single memory when we made so many in 4 + decades of friendship. We met when I was 12 yrs old. Her success in scouting just showed you us how successful she'd be in life never letting anything stop her from achieving her goals. She was a life long friend to our little grp. We made so many memories and had so much fun getting into shenanigans that will remain with us. Above all else there has been loyalty in our little grp. Showing up in the tough moments as well as the joyful. Janie you will be missed by many prolly more than you'd realize. You were loved ,adored and respected. You were an exceptual lady in all you choose to be a part of in this life. I know you're back with your Tom the love of your life.

"Janie" and I formed a friendship through Girl Scouting 43 years ago! She was a tenacious go getter who earned more badges and sold more cookies than all of us combined! She also earned the highest award in Girl Scouting "The Gold Award." Always driven to succeed she did whatever she put her mind to! As teenagers we had so much fun! As adults we cheered on each other's milestones. She was a call away, always with logical, sound advice and encouragement. Thank you Janie for a lifetime of laughter, fun and friendship! Day is done, gone the sun From the lakes, from the hills, from the sky All is well, safely rest, God is nigh....... May God hold you in the very Palm of His Hand... Big hugs....Peggy
