Horacio B. Fernandes died on July 1, 2026. He was born to Etlevina and Cristiano Fernandes in Fogo, Cabo Verde on September 20, 1968.

Obituary

Horacio B. Fernandes was a devoted partner, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend whose life was defined by love, hard work, and unwavering dedication to his family.

Born in Fogo, Cabo Verde, Horacio built a life centered on faith, perseverance, and providing for those he loved. He dedicated 37 years to Bain & Company, where he earned the respect and admiration of his coworkers through his kindness, professionalism, and tireless work ethic.

Family was always his greatest priority. He leaves behind five loving children, three cherished grandchildren, and a large extended family who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Those who knew Horacio knew how much he enjoyed family gatherings, especially a game of dominoes, filled with laughter and love. His quiet strength, generous heart, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire all who knew him.

He is also survived by a loving host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE on Thursday, July 9th from 5 - 8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Patrick Church, 400 Dudley Street, ROXBURY on Friday, July 10th at 10AM. Interment at New Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends invited.
