Obituary for Guilherme Rodrigues

RODRIGUES - Guilherme, age 95 of Taunton, formerly of Boston and Cape Verde, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 5, 2025.

Guilherme came to the United States in 1949 at the age of 18, he would travel back and forth to Cape Verde until he eventually settled in the United States.

Beloved husband of the late Marianete Rodrigues. Devoted father of Maria Oliveria, Eugenio Rosa, Ana Maria Oliveira, Manuela Rodrigues-Almeida and the late Alberto Rodrigues, Manuel Rodrigues and Guilherme Rodrigues, Jr. Loving brother of the late Isabel DoCanto. Cherished grandfather of 17 and adored great-grandfather of 16. Also survived by many caring extended family and friends.

Funeral Mass for Guilherme will be celebrated on Saturday, October 11th at Saint Patrick Church, 400 Dudley St., ROXBURY at 10:00 AM. Interment in New Calvary Cemetery, MATTAPAN. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 10th at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington St., LOWER MILLS - DORCHESTER from 4:00 - 8:00 pm.
