Obituary for Grace (Kiley) Flynn Bono
Grace (Kiley) Flynn Bono, 95, of Milton passed away peacefully on May 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved wife of the late James F. Bono and the late Leo R. Flynn. Loving mother of John Flynn and his wife Kathleen of Berlin, Paula Char and her husband Daniel of Milton, Deborah Flynn of Milton and stepson James Bono Jr. and his wife Laurie of Marshfield. Proud grandmother of Ryan Flynn and his wife Sarah, Michael Char and his wife Sara, Steven Char, Christine Char and Deanna Bono and Great Grandmother of Emma, Grace and Isabelle Flynn.
Grace grew up in Roxbury and Dorchester. Her family owned Kiley Hardware Store on Blue Hill Ave, Roxbury and was a proud Alumni of Girls Latin School and Simmons College.
From her early childhood years, she enjoyed summers on Lake Boon in Hudson subsequently bringing up her own children there to enjoy the lake as well. Over the years she developed many close relationships with the lake community and had many happy times with close friends and family boating, water-skiing and swimming.
She had a passion for travel, loving the Caribbean, Europe and exotic destinations.
She was an active member of the Milton Hoosic Club, Neighborhood Club and the Milton Council on Aging.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Visitation Parish, Saint Elizabeth Church, 350 Reedsdale Road, Milton, Monday, May 12 at 10:00 AM. Family and friends are invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE Sunday May 11 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Interment Milton Cemetery.
Donations in Grace’s memory may be sent to The Milton Council on Aging, 10 Walnut Street, Milton, MA 02186.

I am sorry that I'm not able to attend the wake or funeral for Grace. She was a wonderful person who was very well liked by all who knew her. I think lovely is a good word to describe her. I would like to extend my sympathy to all the family. Love ❤️ Barbara Murphy
