Gloria V. Cadogan of Dorchester passed away on December 14, 2024. She was 77 years old.

Beloved mother of Yvette L. Layne, Pearson M. Layne and Ernest L. Cadogan all of Dorchester. Devoted sister of Leila Weekes, Chesterfield Cadogan, Carlisle Cadogan, Benjamin Cadogan and Carlene Blackman. Cherished grandmother of Shantel Lemora Layne, Deonne Cadogan, Shaniah Layne, Rianna Cadogan, Pearson Layne, Jr. and Nayambe Layne-Quee. Gloria is also lovingly survived by many extended family and close friends.

Gloria was born in St. James, Barbados. After settling in Boston she worked as a Mental Health Professional at Mass Mental Health where she formed many close relationships. Gloria was know for her kindness and generous personality. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to attend viewing on Saturday December 28th 10-11 AM in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, Dorchester Lower Mills.

Funeral Service will follow at 11 AM in the funeral home.

Internment in Fairview Cemetery, Hyde Park.
