Genetta Cairo of Randolph died on June 29, 2022, at home with her family by her side. She was 72 years old.

Beloved wife of James Lee Cairo, Sr. of Randolph. Loving mother of James L. Cairo, Jr. of Tampa, FL, Angenetta Cairo-Richardson of Randolph and Samantha Cairo of Phoenix, AZ. Sister ofMildred Poindexter, Lee Ellen Robinson, Cherry Thomas, Janie Winkey, Bronette Poindexter, Issac Poindexter, Chester Poindexter and the late Lena Mae Matthews, Letisha Rankin, and Richard Poindexter. Cherished grandmother of 11 Grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and the late Anthoney T. Wilkerson.

Genetta Was born and raised in Alabama. she came to Boston, MA in the 1960s where we met the love of her life James Sr. She was a dedicated Patient care assistant at Brigham and Woman Hospital in Boston for over 25 years before retiring. Genetta loved to cook and bake for her family. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and dear friends. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known and loved her.

Visitation will be on Wednesday 3-4 PM in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, Dorchester Lower Mills. A funeral service will follow at 4PM in the Funeral Home. Interment on Thursday at 12:30PM in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
